Lucky Dog Animal Rescue is a non-for-profit animal rescue saving dogs from high-kill shelters. We are an all volunteer run rescue helping dogs and adopters find one another! One the 1st Day of Christmas, my true-love Rescued me....





Meet Bear!

Breed: Black lab/Giant Schnauzer mix
Approximate Age: 4 years
Approximate Weight: 56 lbs.

Bear is the coolest dog!


He is incredibly affectionate and loyal.


He will follow his "person" wherever they go around the house. And, it’s very shocking considering how badly he was treated before Lucky Dog got him! He was brought to a vet clinic in South Carolina to be put to sleep because he was "afraid of thunderstorms!"


Can you believe that?


While it's true that Bear is a bit anxious during storms (who isn't?), he does well with some soothing pets. Bear loves people and other dogs -- he adores his trips to the dog park!
