Lucky Dog Animal Rescue is a non-for-profit animal rescue saving dogs from high-kill shelters. We are an all volunteer run rescue helping dogs and adopters find one another! Please help us with these specially chosen dogs. We would like to give them special attention during this holiday season and find them their fur-ever homes

On the 11th Day of Christmas, my true love gave to me...

Breed: Great Pyrenees

Age: about 2 years old

Weight: about 120 lbs

What a snow dog!

Juno is a super love bug that wound up in a shelter in South Carolina with a hurt leg.

Lucky Dog helped him through a surgery that repaired the damage.

He would be a great addition to a family without little kids (he is big, ya know!)!

What a wonderful dog!

on the 10th day of Christmas, my true love gave to me...

Breed: Shepherd/Lab/Hound Mix

Age: about 11 months

Weight: will be approximately 50 lbs full grown

CeeCee was abandoned as a small pup. She was then taken to a shelter and as a result a little fearful of new environments and people.

Look out though, once she knows you she is a silly goofball!

She loves the dog park and does well with both dogs and cats and loves her foster mom to pieces!

On the 12th Day of Christmas, my true love WISH to be!

Sunshine RaineMelvin
Kazoo JawsClover
Bogey Belle

No more homeless dogs!

First....

We would like to honor all of our volunteers who give their time, hearts, homes, and money in order for Lucky Dog to be what it is today!
No one person can make the wonderful things happen that we have been able to do!
Thank you to each and everyone of you from the bottom of our Paws!

Second...
The special 12th day of Christmas, is in honor of the dogs that Lucky Dog has aided through medical issues and surgeries!
Each dog we take in, we do our absolute best to care for them, despite the time and cost commitment.

Please consider Donating to LuckyDog so we can continue help these dogs with special needs and find them their forever homes!

Above are just a few of our dogs that have received life-saving medical care because of all of you!

On the 9th Day of Christmas, my true love gave to me...

A LITTLE JACK!

Breed:Miniature Pinscher
Age: 5 to 6 years old
Weight: 25 lbs

Jack is a special little guy!
He came from a backyard breeder that did not think about all the homes
that are needed for each puppy!
In fact, until he came to Lucky Dog, he did not even receive the right medical prevenatives!

He loves to run and play with other dogs but can also chill out and snuggle with the best of them! He would love a family with kids over 8 years old so he doesn't worry about his little size!

On the Eighth Day of Christmas, my true love gave to me....

MEET MADISON!!!

Breed: Dalmation/Beagle Mix

Approximate Age: 5 months

Approximate Weight: 25 lbs

Madison is an adorable young pup.
We're not 100% sure on her breed - but maybe she is dalmatian beagle?
She is too cute for words -whatever she is.
Madison is very smart, gets along great with other dogs -- and is just loves people.
She would be an amazing addition to any home!

On the seventh day of Christmas, my true love gave to me...

Meet Bee!
She is a special dog!

Breed: Bull dog/ Pit Bull mix

Approximate Age: 5 yrs

Approximate Weight: 40 lbs

Bee is an incredible little dog!

She was rescued by the Humane Society of the United States from a suspected dog fighting ring in Ohio! We think she was a bait dog because she is covered in scars -- and likely a breeder as well.

Amazingly enough, however, Bee has no aggression in her.

She still loves other dogs and even people -- having complete faith that there is kindness in the world.

She truly is a LUCKY DOG!

On the sixth day of christmas, my true of gave to me....

Meet Scarlett O'Hara!!!

Breed: Plott Hound

Approximate Age: 10 months

Approximate Weight: 65 lbs

History: Plott Hounds are practically the state dog of

North Carolina but are not well known in these parts, which is unfortunate--they are fabulous dogs.

Scarlett Ohara knows this, and would love an opportunity to tell you all about it.

She's got a spring in her step that shows she knows she's special, and that life is just plain good, although it would be that much better if she found a forever home.

She is an incredibly friendly dog who does really well in daycare and at the dog park!

She would be such a great family dog!
